Required Education:

  • Technology Degree or Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience:

  • 5 - 7 years of IT experience in an EPC environment
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) or equivalent
  • Strong working knowledge of PCs/Laptops and peripherals
  • Proficient with Microsoft 2010 suite of applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Technologies (AD, Exchange, Lync)
  • Proficient in all aspect of Windows 7 (Profiles, PowerShell, Group Policies)
  • Experience with video conferencing systems (Polycom)
  • Experience with Help Desk ticketing system (KACE)

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, the Information Technology Specialist is responsible for performing technical and end-user support functions, as directed, in the maintenance and support of our Engineering and Corporate environment. This fast paced EPC environment provides both personal and professional growth and challenges.

General Duties, Responsibilities, & Critical Outcomes:

  • Install and troubleshoot various company approved software applications
  • Assist in moves and new installation of client workstations
  • Maintain workstation images and manage overall Desktop environment
  • Provide end user support on various desktop related issues
  • Inventory/Asset tracking (Hardware and Software)
  • Assist users with data archiving
  • Assist in the disposal of outdated computer equipment
  • Identify and address connectivity and network communication issues
  • Research and recommendations for new technology solutions to business problems
  • Mobility support and administration - Android/iOS/IPhone devices
  • Basic Active Directory and Exchange troubleshooting and support
